Bladder 4: Above the Horizon of Night
Many of us are deeply shaken right now by the ICE shootings in Minneapolis. I am considering these dire realities from the anchoring force of the Water element, and the deep winter cold. In Chinese medical terms, Full Cold is discouragement. We must keep warm!
I’m going to continue posting my series of Bladder meridian points on the head with Bladder 4, as a Window of the Sky for all of us who are deeply experiencing the chill of darkness right now. What better time to be aware of the stars, and the angels, above our tears.
This is a very small excerpt from my CEU offering, Intro to BL 3-4-5 (on sale now). See previous blogs Bladder Intelligence, Bladder 1: Enter the Dark, Bladder 2: Dark Visions, and Bladder 3: The World At Night. This is the perfect time of the year to heal the Bladder meridian, starting right at the beginning…
The next point is BL 4, which is the one that goes off to the side. The Bladder meridian goes basically in a straight line paralleling GV, except that BL 4 goes out sideways to make room for GV 23, Upper Star. All of the points up here on the brow are in relationship to G V 23 Upper Star, because GV 23 Upper Star is truly massive. It’s a massive point. It’s like a crater. In Daoist meditations, GV 23 Upper Star is the focus of the wisdom that comes in from Heaven; it’s considered to be a point of apprehension of connection to wisdom from on high. Next to it, at BL 4, the Bladder meridian actually has to step back to make room for GV 23 Upper Star.
I have often used BL 4 as an alternate window of the sky point. As far as I’m concerned, there are three windows of the sky points on Bladder meridian, and one of them is BL 4, because it is a total head rush and an opening to a light from on high. This is absolutely the point that I use when it’s even worse than BL 3; it’s not the world that looks dark but the nature of the cosmos. From BL 3 we’re looking at what’s going on in Gaza or Syria, or at what’s going on in our own country, and what’s going on for the planet. Then at BL 4 we tilt our gaze just a bit further back—to see the Milky Way or the clouds of angels hovering over the planet.
