From Grief to Righteousness

Autumn is a time of external loss, but it can also be a time of internal gain. As a result of the pandemic, many of us have been feeling a sense of loss in our lives; however, grief is not unique to COVID-19. We have grieved before, and we will grieve again. But grief does not have to be a doorway into tragedy and illness;  it can be a chance to take stock of what really matters most to us, and to bring our lives into alignment with our most deeply-held values.

Whether it is grief now or grief from long ago, all grief is an opportunity to identify clearly what we most value, even in its material absence.  Nothing hones our value system like grief—and every year, the energetics of autumn assist us in the Transformation of Virtue from Grief to Righteousness.

Righteousness is not the same as self-righteousness!  Righteousness is the capacity to prefer what Heaven values—to align ourselves with its vaster beauty and be fully graced by it—even when this involves personal loss. We are challenged by the Heavens to open and let go of old frames of reference, for the sake of the journey into living under a much bigger sky.

The teaching of autumn is that all things pass, but that what is truly precious is now embodied inside of us.  As light and warmth wane, we prepare for the coming of winter. There is a last burst of color, and then the earth is stripped bare of signs of life. That which is transient is now gone forever; the vitality which endures is now held deep inside.

Join Thea for a retreat designed to allow you the breathing space needed to discover yourself, your solitude within community, and your Original Face.

A Season Lasts More Than A Day

Sometimes it takes more than a one-day workshop to integrate the gifts of the season! That’s why we’re offering the Metal Seasonal Bundle to support a more well-rounded experience of Autumn’s healing opportunities. Along with other workshop participants, you are welcome to join us for 30 days of  Metal seasonal healing emails (worth 5 CEUs), the Metal archive book, and two group Metal Healing hours over the next month (October 28 and November 11, 10:00 to 11:30 eastern time). You’ll find these items listed on the registration page where you may choose to add one, two, or all three to your Metal Autumn Retreat workshop.

This combination of approaches will give us an opportunity to deepen Metal body language, align with our core values, and consolidate our practice of inner sanctuary in our lives. Within a strong healing container, loss of heart in Metal can take heart again.

A New Online Experience

This teleconference will be like no other that you have taken. We will use a variety of gentle yet effective online health and hygiene measures to create a Group Heart that will be nourishing, palpably connected, and rich with transmission.

What people are saying about working with Thea online: “The main thing I was most struck by after a 3-4 hour practice with Thea was how energized and full I felt; I was ready to keep going when it ended.  It was the exact opposite of how I’ve felt after many 1-hour Zoom calls at work.”

– David S.

“I have never met a more gifted teacher. Thea embodies the herbs and formulas in such a beautiful and heartfelt way, that what would otherwise be mere information becomes a living immediate experience for the student. Don’t blink or you’ll miss something intensely wonderful and unique.”

– Ki Ennes, M.Ac., L.Ac.
