Coming to Clarity Through Confusion and Doubt
Santa Ana, CA — October 20-21, 2018

This workshop combines perspectives from both Chinese medicine and Sufism, and will use language and practices from both traditions. No previous experience necessary!

In the best of times, clarity is a guiding light that allows us to live in a way that reflects our alignment with the Tao/Allah. In difficult times, if we still have clarity, we are able to walk through danger, pain and darkness sustained by inner strength and purpose.

Clarity is one of our greatest treasures, and yet when we need it most, it may be scarce. Under pressure, clarity can be hard to find. Even after we have found it, confusion and doubt can undermine certainty — are we really sure? Really? How can we be sure that what we think is true is really true? What if we are wrong?

Clarity is only healthy if it can abide in the presence of the ambiguity and subtlety that we all face every day. Sometimes doubt turns out to be truth; sometimes confusion is a necessary doorway through which we must walk to find a deeper clarity. If we are afraid of confusion and doubt, and do not know how to walk through them, we may not find the clarity that will sustain us through the long difficult walks in life.

Join us for a workshop designed to walk each of us through our own process of coming to clarity. We will use real life examples, great and small, as opportunities to learn how to navigate through confusion and doubt to clarity that we can trust.

“The workshop was amazing. It was a real gift to witness you two working in concert together. You both bring such different gifts to the table and complement each other’s style and direction of origin (Nur from the sky, Thea from the earth). It also felt so supportive and somehow safe to be in a group of like-minded people of spirit, i.e. folks that are clearly comfortable claiming a connection to the divine. It allowed us to go deeper faster.

— Helen Schmidt

“I am amazed at the life changing insights and healing that came through at last week’s Clarity workshop. Thea and Nur are brilliant healers and teachers who each bring to the table unique gifts, and who work together with great effectiveness to support workshop participants. Each of their contributions were essential to my workshop experience. Their synergy on the unseen levels and complementary approaches in the outer brought about powerful healing and transformation. I felt completely supported.”

– Maryam Hand

“Thea and Nur are very complimentary in their teaching styles and each of their teachings expands and lifts the other’s teaching. The result is an amazing combination of physically grounded and spiritually engaging transmissions. The healing that I experienced as a result of the two of them joining forces was truly remarkable.

— Claire Heenan
