Summer Fire Retreat
A Chance for
Healers and Helpers to Recharge
Webex — July 11-12, 2020
11.5 NCCAOM-approved CEUs
How can we give what we haven’t got?
This retreat is a chance for healers and helpers to be tended and to re-connect with our Fire.
We are living through challenging times, and many of us are in shock. Shock is a state in which the Heart inside of our chest is not securely connected with the Big Heart, the larger resource of Shen. It’s a state in which “the Emperor is not on the throne,” and the result is chaos in the kingdom—inner and outer.
When in shock, instead of responding from alignment with Heavenly Mandate, instead we just do a patch-up job—we try to pull it together and keep it all running. It’s called “coping,” and it is definitely not a healing state!
When we, as healers and helpers, are coping rather than healing, what we have to offer to those whom we serve is more of the same: we help them patch it together and keep it running, too. We are helping them cope, rather than helping them heal.
It is not self-indulgent to take some time to shake it loose, to let our hair down, to laugh, and to support each other back into Heart. There is healing in gathering together for the sake of our own connection to the Heavenly Mandate—and for the sake of our connection to each other.
Come join us, for the sake of everyone whom your life touches. Yes, we have a lot to give—but we also have a lot to receive.
A New Online Experience
This teleconference will be like no other that you have taken. We will use a variety of gentle yet effective online health and hygiene measures to create a Group Heart that will be nourishing, palpably connected, and rich with transmission. This will be heart-to-heart resuscitation for healers.
