Healing Ourselves, Healing Our Communities, Healing Our Planet

Nothing stays the same—and that is more apparent than ever these days. Making Connections is a standing invitation to WHC students to re-connect, and re-connect again, with the people and practices that are the WHC community.

The spirit of the gathering is keeping our WHC practices alive and at peak relevance for our lives as they keep changing, and changing again.

Note that due to the new 3-hour time format, CEUs are no longer offered for this workshop. If this is something that is important to you, please contact us at info@perennialmedicine.com and let us know. We may choose to offer CEUs with a future course.

I have studied with Thea for almost eight years now (holy moly) and the practice that she embodies and transmits has transformed every aspect of my life. It has opened me up to ME and simultaneously and consistently grounded me in Source. It has changed how I communicate with my family, my patients, my students, my self. Every student that I have been in class with has raised questions, issues, whatever, that I have felt like “me too!” and so their lesson is mine too. For all this I have tremendous gratitude of which is like prayer to me. So thank you for recognizing the depth of my appreciation.

With love and gratitude.

Whole Heart Connection for Personal and Social Healing

These are tools for fostering equality even in the midst of social power imbalance, and for becoming effective agents of social change without courting burn-out. In fact, Whole Heart Connection will do more for your health than you would have believed possible in such difficult times.

Whole Heart Connection practices draw upon aikido, Chinese medicine, and Sufism, all of which teach us that healthy change takes place on a me-first basis. Our goal is the well-being of entire communities, and so we are committed to fostering personal health every step of the way. There is no division between being an activist and taking care of ourselves.

Perennial Medicine’s Commitment to Social Justice

At Perennial Medicine, we are committed to addressing the roots and manifestations of socially constructed power imbalances without shaming, blaming, or oversimplification. We understand that social justice is a very complex topic, and we welcome people who are at different stages of exploring all the ways that we might create a more fair and equitable world together.
