Wood and Spring
Wood is associated with springtime, and with the ability to make a comeback from anything. Springtime resurrects us from hibernation with its astounding capacity to move forward with new growth towards the returning light. Wood is our aliveness, our capacity for hope, our creativity and adaptability especially in response to challenge. The natural urge of springtime is the abolition of all stagnation in our lives. Where are we stuck, where are we collapsed, where are we not creatively engaged, flowing and growing? Wherever our Wood energy is not flowing freely, we are likely to experience the emotion associated with Wood: anger! But don’t be afraid — by cultivating healthy Wood energy, anger transforms into constructiveness.
About the Emails
Would you like to get a daily reminder about spring, with suggestions for simple exercises and practices that can help you receive the clarity and strength of Wood more fully?
Starting February 28, you can begin to receive 30 days’ worth of Wood integration emails, bringing you thoughts, images and reminders of how to immerse in the energy of spring and receive its benefits most fully. This one-month subscription will support participants in integrating Wood practices and insights into their daily lives through reminders of practical ways to develop healthy Wood.
There will be two emails each day: in the a.m. you will receive an email with a picture and text, suggesting a thought or practice for getting the most out of spring; and in the p.m. you will receive another email with an image to reflect upon and enjoy. For those who want CEUs, once the 30-day series is finished, you can fill in the worksheet and take the quiz to receive your certificate.
If you sign up for the emails after February 28, 2020, your email series will start from the beginning within a few days.
Registration will close on April 13, 2020.
