A Day-Long Rehab for the Spleen Meridian
The Spleen is the meridian of farmers and of all who spend their time tending and cultivating. The Spleen meridian is a journey of establishing the foundations of our life as a garden, and the relationship between nourishment and hard work in our lives. When the balance is off between hard work and deep nourishment in our lives, the Spleen meridian suffers. Binge eating, binge “consumption” of junk-food-for-thought, and other mechanisms for compensatory pleasure may erupt as we try to correct the balance through extremes.
The ecology of community is crucial in establishing healthy Spleen function, whether it’s communal meals or a barn raising. Many Spleen points are directly relevant to our ability to ask for help and to work together to make everyone’s life easier and more bountiful.
Join Thea Elijah for a healing journey through the Spleen meridian in which we will explore how to support our clients (and ourselves!) with Spleen transformation.
