Inner Sanctuary and the Sacred: A Day-Long Rehab of the Lung Meridian
Covid-19 has brought some of us more opportunity for solitude than we ever wanted; for others, we’ve been more cooped up together than we’re used to. A Lung needs breathing space. Sometimes we don’t know how to get it; other times we don’t know what to do with it once we’ve got it.
The most important job of the Lung is to contact the sacred and internalize it. This is not about any particular religion or path—it’s about breathing! Shallow breathing, interrupted and irregular breathing, constrained breathing (which often happens in crowded spaces or when we have no time to ourselves), and excess or lack of “clouds and mist” can all hamper the Lung’s ability to serve as private inner space in which to receive Heavenly Qi.
Come join us for a day of inner expansion as we explore the points of the Lung meridian together. What you learn will certainly benefit your practice, but even more importantly, it will be a re-consecration of inner sanctuary in your own body, for your own heart.
