It is highly encouraged that you join Thea for Whole Heart Connection Taking Heart for a chance to re-immerse in heart space prior to this workshop.
Beyond goodness is the whole paint box–and beyond goodness is wholeness. Wholeness is our ability to access our full paint box, not just certain colors; not just the colors that our parents found convenient in a three-year-old. Not just the colors that our particular culture considers attractive in our gender, in our skin color, in our social class.
Beyond goodness, which is socially defined, there’s a full paint box in there. And before goodness, there’s a place of “not good, not bad– just is.” This is not about our behavioral choices—it’s about who we really are. Hopefully our choices will reflect our commitment to health and heart; but health begins with freedom to be honest.
We need all of the colors in our full paint box, because they are fertile. They are fertile for art and music. They are also fertile for comprehension. We don’t want to shut down any of the colors in our paint box, or we are likely to not recognize them outside of ourselves, either. Then, when we see these colors in others, we may naively feel like, “Oh, what big teeth you have!” We are easily blindsided by aspects of human nature that we have not acknowledged in ourselves.
This wholeness, this full paint box of colors, is the primeval wilderness of the self. Join us in permission for an open exploration of that primeval wilderness. You can always go back to civilization….
Participation in this Whole Heart Connection workshop is limited to students who have already completed the Whole Heart Connection Intro.
Thea takes online health and hygiene seriously, and so we ask that you review the Group Heart materials prior to the workshop.
Please note, it is not recommended that participants divide their focus by taking extensive notes. In order to allow participants to relax into the discussion, we will make an audio recording which will be shared only with participants. The purpose of the recording will be to remind participants of what they learned. The recording will not be available for those who were not present in the class.
In the (very rare) event of a workshop cancellation, all tuition will be refunded. Otherwise, any refund is at the sole discretion of Perennial Medicine.
