Participation in this Whole Heart Connection workshop is open to everyone

Whole Heart Connection is a set of body-based awareness practices designed to help us to shift our own internal states, such that we are able to connect with the best in ourselves, with the best in others, and with the source of creative insight.

WHOLE HEART CONNECTION OPENING THE DOOR with a focus: An Expanded Sense of Safety

This workshop is an introduction to Whole Heart Connection practices and is open to new students who have not taken any other Whole Heart Connection workshops.

Safety is a critical limiting factor in many people’s lives.  Many decisions are made, and many dreams and desires are either pursued or kept indefinitely on hold, because of concerns about safety.  Many times a day, we choose one path rather than another, based on our sense of safety.

What is safety, and how can we tell when we are safe?  Despite the crucial importance of this question, few people know how to answer it for themselves.  It is common for many people to live in a vague yet unrelenting sense of unease, never being quite sure what is safe and what isn’t, especially around other human beings.

This mini-workshop is dedicated to practices that help us return to our natural capacity to assess safety, and more importantly to begin creating more safety for ourselves. Over time, we are able to remain feeling safe and resourced in more and more challenging situations.

For healers, WHC can help us find a healthy balance between our own integrity and groundedness and our ability to hold an open, healing presence with our clients. This allows us to be deeply of service without becoming drained, diagnostically skillful without being “stuck in our head,” and empathetic without being energetically blurry.

WHC is a translation of the Classical Chinese phrase ‘tong shen ming,’ which represents the sagely level of both diagnosis and treatment. Where can you learn more about that—on a practical, embodied level?

WHC skills vastly increase both our ability to discern the client’s patterns of disharmony, and connect with their original nature—the health at their core. When we are in touch with both the client’s illness and their health, we can needle as a revolutionary reawakening of that inner health.

This reawakening of health is the great power that is only available in a homeostatic healing system—of which you, the practitioner, are the most important part. Come hone your instrument—you!

In the event of a workshop cancellation, all tuition will be refunded. Otherwise, any refund is at the sole discretion of Perennial Medicine.
