WHOLE HEART CONNECTION OPENING THE DOOR with a focus: An Expanded Sense of Safety
This workshop is an introduction to Whole Heart Connection practices and is open to new students who have not taken any other Whole Heart Connection workshops.
Safety is a critical limiting factor in many people’s lives. Many decisions are made, and many dreams and desires are either pursued or kept indefinitely on hold, because of concerns about safety. Many times a day, we choose one path rather than another, based on our sense of safety.
What is safety, and how can we tell when we are safe? Despite the crucial importance of this question, few people know how to answer it for themselves. It is common for many people to live in a vague yet unrelenting sense of unease, never being quite sure what is safe and what isn’t, especially around other human beings.
This mini-workshop is dedicated to practices that help us return to our natural capacity to assess safety, and more importantly to begin creating more safety for ourselves. Over time, we are able to remain feeling safe and resourced in more and more challenging situations.
Please note, this class is very experiential, and it is not recommended that participants divide their focus by taking extensive notes. In order to allow participants to relax into the experiential aspects of the course, we will make an audio recording which will be shared only with participants. The purpose of the recording will be to remind participants of what they learned and to help re-create the exercises and resultant states. The recording will not be available for those who were not present in the class.
In the (very rare) event of a workshop cancellation, all tuition will be refunded.
Otherwise, any refund is at the sole discretion of Perennial Medicine.
