With help from its handshake with the Spleen and Liver meridian, Kidney 9 helps us establish not only our own life but also a lifestyle that allows us the possibility of engendering a new life. It’s the ultimate statement of faith in life itself to bring a child into this world. When I say the children, I’m talking about what I love that comes forth from my life as a gift that only I could have given to this world. If I write the novel, it means I really believe that life is worth living and that this world, as sad and dark as it can get, is worth the ongoing creation, the “yes life!”
