Thea is the real deal — a true healer in every sense of the word. In Whole Heart Connection, she teaches you how to be your own healer with practices that may seem simple, but run deep and have profound ripples through every facet of your life and wellbeing. The combination of the practices, the WHC community, and Thea’s straight-up magic have been incredibly nourishing to me on my journey of learning to live from my heart.

WHC gives you tools to have a wide open heart in a rough and tumble world, without feeling hurt or battered, but deeply grounded and powerful.

Thea Elijah is magical, and transmits healing so powerfully. She puts words onto invisible things, so that it’s much more clear what is happening, both in and around us. There will never be words that can do it justice to describe why you should do it, but do it anyway because it will change your life in amazingly transformative ways.

In the first WHC class I took (based on the vague but adamant advice of my trusted acupuncturist), I really resonated when you talked about the flow state of feeling alive, like you are moving in synchronicity with life. I think we’ve all had those moments—but they can feel random or fleeting. I was excited to learn that there are tools I could use to access that state on purpose, to resource myself and recover from the struggles of life.

Also, I can say with certainty that most, if not all, of the weird things I say that others find thought-provoking or helpful were learned in community with Thea Elijah.

This WHC stuff truly saved my life. It sounds dramatic but I really mean it. It’s been the difference between being able to bear life as it shows up or crumpling and disappearing into despair. A whole weekend is expensive in regards to time but worth every second and every penny.

A Whole Heart Connection weekend supports us all in being who we really are, providing body-based, insightful ways to care for ourselves, and to feel greater ease in dealing with interpersonal situations that might ordinarily be really challenging. You connect with great people whom you practice with. Somehow, you come away feeling more comfortable in your own skin, moving (maybe dancing or swimming) forward on this ever-evolving and challenging culture/planet/universe.

As an acupuncturist I have had the luck of being exposed to many types of healing modalities and mindfulness practices.  I have found many things to be fascinating yet fleeting, or hard to practice consistently.  Thea Elijah’s Whole Heart Connection practices feel like a memory awakened.  They resonate with my instincts.  They are things you can do at line in the grocery store or riding on a bus or as internal support while someone is complaining at you.

For me, WHC practices have helped me become aware of the vulnerable and hurt parts of me without being afraid of what will happen if I acknowledge them.  WHC practices have helped me sit with the painful experiences I’ve had in a way that I don’t feel alone anymore.

Also, the best part is falling right in love with the other humans in the group.  It’s something beautiful to take part in, and I recommend it for everyone; we could all use more love, tenderness and connection.  It is truly revolutionary to meet with other humans, and experience our deep and tender interconnectedness together.
